Katharine McPhee made her big public debut thanks to “American Idol,” but she’s doing her best to stay in the spotlight. And as far as I can tell, as long as she keeps that hot body of hers going and keeps wearing tight dresses like this one, everything is going to be just fine. Katharine McPhee may still be battling a long battle with bulimia, but it looks like she really has it together in these photos. Katharine McPhee Marrys 42-Year Old Nick Cokas?

  Former “American Idol” standout and current free-agent Katherine McPhee and Nick Cokas were married Saturday at the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church. The 23-year-old Katharine met Nick, 42, in 2005 when they performed in “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.” The couple were engaged last year and yes, it’s final! Katharine wore a strapless Manuel Mota gown while Nick wore an Armani tux. “(Nick) is the love of my life. This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect,” McPhee told People. Katharine McPhee Admits to Scoping Out Scientology

According to TheHollywoodGossip.com, is it possible that getting beaten by Taylor Hicks on American Idol has made Katharine McPhee so insecure that sheld consider joining Hollywood’s trendy “religion” just to impress a man? That’s what she told Salon.com recently in an interview, admitting she looked into Scientology because of some dude. She did not comment on who said dude is. “I took a couple of courses. Katharine McPhee Seeks Treatment for Bulimia

Katharine McPhee faces her problem head on. The 22-year-old, who lost out to Taylor Hicks during "Idol's" fifth season, recently confessed that her participation in the series helped her face her problems and seek treatment for her bulimia, "Entertainment Tonight" reported. "After I made it through the first round of auditions, I knew I had to get better if I was going to go all the way," McPhee admitted. "In this way I can say the show literally saved my life."

Katharine McFee’s mother is a caberet singer and voice coach who Kat would imitate as a child. All that early practice paid off big time when Kat sang God Bless the Child at the San Francisco American Idol audition and landed a spot on the show that would make her a household name.
