Neither Miley Cyrus Nor Hannah Montana are Pregnant
A Socialite’s Life: “It seems that someone thought it would be pretty funny to doctor up a J-14 article to make it appear as if the star of “Hannah Montana,” Miley Cyrus, admitted to being pregnant.” However, the beloved young actress is NOT pregnant!
The fabricated article read:
“I’m going to take good care of my baby. I’ve already gained 7 pounds. I was in real shock when it happened accidentally. I went a little too far. I’m sorry to all of my fans.”
Top Ten O.J. Simpson Robbery Excuses

With everyone semi-interested to see how this O.J. Simpson robbery deal plays out, I figured we should at least poke a little more fun at O.J. until he is permanently behind bars. Once he’s locked up, we can REALLY crack on him with worrying about whether or not he is going to hunt us down like wild animals.
Anyway, here are the Top Ten O.J. Simpson Excuses as I copied down from the Late Show with David Letterman last night:
10. “It was a rare lapse in judgement.”
9. “Thought what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”
8. “Felt like committing a crime, but wasn’t in a stabby mood.”
7. “Honestly, I miss the prison lasagna.”
6. “Distraught after getting turned down for a hosting gig on The View.”
5. “Thought kidnapping would really round out my resume.”
Chris Crocker: A Human Train Wreck?
Chris Crocker has been called “queer,” “a human train wreck,” the “Britney guy,” an androgynous “it” and much, much worse. But how does this 19-year-old Internet phenomenon, known worldwide for his tearful YouTube defense of
“I’m the key to world peace,” says Crocker, sporting a sleeveless black with a hot pink silhouette of
World peace aside, the teenager has captured millions of viewers on MySpace and YouTube with his passionate, campy and sometimes furious monologues about life.
Dan Rather Files Lawsuit Against CBS

Dan Rather filed a $70 million lawsuit minutes ago against CBS, alleging that the network made him a “scapegoat” for a discredited story about President Bush’s National Guard service. Rather, whose last few months were clouded by controversy over the report, says the complaint stems from “CBS’ intentional mishandling” of the aftermath of the story.
“Dan the Man” Rather is seeking $20 million in compensatory damages and $50 million in punitive damages.
OJ Simpson’s Bail Set at $125K
What a lucky SOB! A judge set bail today at $125,000 for O.J. Simpson in connection with the armed robbery of sports memorabilia collectors at a Las Vegas hotel. His lawyer said afterword that he expected O.J. to be released within hours and return to Florida.
Will OJ Simpson Be Released on Bail?

Today is the day we find out if OJ Simpson gets out of jail on bail… again. His lawyers are asking that OJ be released under his own recognizance, but I’m guessing bail will be set somewhere around, let’s say… $1,000,000 (said in Dr. Evil fashion), if at all. Considering the judge already believes OJ is a flight risk, I say there is only a 50/50 chance he even gets a chance to walk out the jail door.
You may recall the famous tag-line from Simpson’s last trial, “If the glove doesn’t fit, you must acquit.” Well, it looks like this round it’s going to be something like, “The goods are mine, there is no crime!”
Britney’s Bodyguard Is the “Key and Secret Witness”

Well, I guess it’s not much of a secret anymore now is it? However, a former bodyguard for Britney Spears went to court on Monday to support a sealed declaration about questionable behavior by the pop star in the child-custody dispute between the singer and ex-husband Kevin Federline, but never got to testify. Tony Barretto, 28, arrived with a lawyer but Family Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon held only a brief open session before clearing the courtroom of everyone but attorneys for Spears and Federline to privately discuss unsealing documents in the ongoing case.
Kanye West Rocks Fiddy in Album Sales

Early sales figures show that Kanye West is winning the battle against 50 Cent. Yep, according to Nielsen Soundscan, Kanye’s new album Graduation has moved 431,000 copies on its day of release in the US, compared to only 310,000 copies of 50 Cent’s Curtis. Fiddy if going to have to eat his words!
Rachael Ray Wants You To Get Things Cooking

Are you a wannabe celebrity chef or the most inventive cook on the block? Do your culinary skills go beyond boiling water? If you’ve answered “yes” to all the above, then Rachael Ray may be looking for you. The syndicated talk-show host is launching “So You Think You Can Cook?” It’s a nationwide search for an enterprising foodie. Rachel had this to say about what they are looking for:
“We just want to give a person, a real person, not a chef or somebody specially trained to do this for a living, a shot at showing everybody their personality and how much fun you can have with food.”
Janet Jackson’s Breast Issue Still At Hand
Can you say “wardrobe malfunction?” I bet so! A lawyer for CBS argued the company should not be fined for the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show that ended with Janet Jackson’s breast-baring “wardrobe malfunction” because the stunt was both fleeting and unauthorized. The network also accused the FCC of applying “mushy” and newly restrictive standards when it fined CBS $550,000 for the half-second of partial nudity.
“The FCC’s new zero-tolerance policy has already had a chilling effect on the broadcast industry, particularly with regard to television,” said Robert Corn-Revere, a CBS lawyer who asked a federal appeals court panel to overturn the fine.
Jennifer Hudson Joins Sex and the City Movie
Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson has joined the cast of “Sex and the City: The Movie,” which begins filming next week in New York. Jennifer will play the assistant to Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, in the movie based on the HBO comedy series. In July, the show’s four leads, including Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, came aboard for the film after New Line Cinema agreed to finance and distribute it. Chris Noth also joined the cast to reprise his role as Mr. Big.
