Lindsay Lohan is still a lush. I know, it really is kind of an understatement. We. are. so. surprised. You know, not really. But Star Magazine has a story this week that Lohan is looking for a wealthy guy to support her trashy couture lifestyle, which could explain her brief hookup with Stavros that was quickly thwarted by jealous Paris. Apparently she wants a sugar daddy to foot the bill. According to Star:

“She’s dying for some rich guy to take care of her!” a friend reveals to Star.

She thought she’d found one in superwealthy shipping heir Stavros Niarchos, who wined and diner her all over LA in late November. But he shocked her earlier this month by jetting off to Miami and meeting up with old love Paris Hilton.

“Lindsay says Stav’s money makes him hot,” says the pal. “She loves to talk about how he’s ‘richer than God.’”

But Stavros, 22, isn’t the only guy Lindsay’s hitting up for money. She asked ex Calum Best, the 26-year-old British millionaire playboy, for money. And she even called rapper 50 Cent, who’s helping with her upcoming album, and requested $20,000 in early December.

In a responsible, take charge manner, Lindsay Lohan has recently filed a countersuit against the man who accused her of negligence and drinking when she hit his parked van in West Hollywood back in October 2005. Lindsay is asking for more than $75,000 in damages for the repair of her car and the cost of renting vehicles after the accident. Lindsay had hit a vehicle owned by Raymundo Ortega, who subsequently sued Lindsay for $200,000 in damages. 

But in her countersuit, she claims Ortega made an illegal U-turn and that he and an unspecified number of defendants were “negligent in the ownership, operation, repairs and maintenance” of his van, according to the suit.

Lindsay Lohan and her estranged father, Michael, took their first steps toward smoothing out an arguably rocky relationship. Michael Lohan traveled to Utah yesterday to visit his 21-year-old daughter, who greeted him in the parking lot of the Cirque Lodge rehabilitation center. An onlooker at the center reported the initial meeting:

“The moment Lindsay saw Michael, she started running and jumped into her father’s arms. Her father hugged her and swung her around. Lindsay was so happy. It was very emotional.”

Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father has come forward saying his daughter suffers from multiple addictions, including alcohol and the painkiller OxyContin. The 20-year-old actress checked into rehab Monday following a weekend that included her car crash, her arrest for suspicion of DUI, and her being photographed slumped in the passenger seat of a friend’s car. Michael Lohan stated:

“I spoke to the people treating Lindsay, because I wanted to make sure she was getting the right care. And I’m satisfied they are doing the right thing for her, helping her detox from the painkillers and things. That’s a very important step.”

No one has ever acused me of being an expert on the whole alcohol rehab thing, but I feel confident that avoiding temptation is one thing you should do when you have a substance abuse issue.  For example,  let's say you have an alcohol problem; a bar or club is probably not the best place to hang out to avoid alcohol. I guess when they talked about that at rehab, Lindsay Lohan was out for the day.
