Kid Rock Found and Issued a Citation by Police
The Las Vegas Police Department issued this statement to TMZ about the altercation last night with Kid Rock and Tommy Lee:
“A little after 8:00 PM last night we received a call that a disturbance had occurred at the MTV Video Music Awards. We had a lot of officers working in and around the awards so they got her fairly quickly. We determined that the altercation was between Kid Rock and Tommy Lee. After our investigation, Kid Rock did receive a citation for misdemeanor battery. Everyone involved was interviewed.”
Kid Rock Might Be In Big Trouble
I guess Kid Rock thought he’d finish out the MTV Video Music Awards with a bang! The details are still developing, but it looks like Kid threw a punch at Tommy Lee.
The Palms Hotel security escorted both guys outside after the incident. The Las Vegas Police Department is currently looking for Kid’s whereabouts.
Update: Kid Rock has apparently been found by the police and questioned. No arrest has been made at the current time, but it is unknown if Tommy Lee will file charges.

It’s bad enough there’s another reality show coming to air, but another damn dating show!? I’m sure it will focus on Tila Tequila and her lesbian contestants, romping around in tiny bikinis with their boobs falling out. Hey, nothing wrong with that I guess, if you’re a guy or bi!
“The Simple Life” is Simply Over
The New York Daily News reports that E! has officially cancelled The Simple Life.? Oh no that is simply terrible, how will we survive without Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie poking fun at ordinary people like you and I?
Don’t get your hopes up too soon though, just because E!is not going to be airing their show anymore doesn’t mean another network won’t pick it up.? I truly hope no one does though … I think we’ve all had enough of the dynamic duo.
Shyamali Malakar To Pose Nude - Sanjaya Says No
We all remember the 'dynamic duo' from American Idol, Sanjaya Malakar and his sister Shyamali. How could we forget right?
Well it seems there is some news floating around the internet that Shyamali has been offered to pose nude for a magazine spread. I'm not sure what magazine this could be - Playboy? - but we can definitely understand why they'd want a chance to feature her.
Her jiggly appearence on Idol, cheering her brother, really got her noticed.
Sorry to say to all you hoping to see more of Shyamali, Sanjaya says "She was never the type to flaunt it.".
I know it's disappointing, but here's some news to brighten your day for sure! Sanjaya is still planning to continue rockin' it - "My first objective is to legitimize my music…".

Face it, You’re Gonna Miss American Idol
Encore…do you want more? Well, with "American Idol" now over and done, the show's completion is finally sinking in. I mean, no more lame singers to make fun of, no more bad decisions by the voting public to criticize, and no more drunken Paula Abdul to laugh at. Kind of a bummer. Well, as more of a tribute to the Idol judges than anything else, here are Randy Jackson, Paula, and Simon Cowell from finale night in their typical order.
Green Day Rocks “The Simpsons” Theme Song
Green Day has recorded a punk version of the "The Simpsons" theme song for the movie soundtrack. Billboard.com reports that Warner Bros. will issue a single of the song on July 24, three days before the flick hits your local theater, while Fox Music will issue a digital version of the score through its Web site, and Extreme Music will ship 25,000 copies of the set, packaged in pink doughnut cases, to Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal-Mart, and Barnes & Noble!
Simon Says: Melinda Doolittle Should Have Won
Melinda Doolittle should have won "American Idol" Simon Cowell told "Good Morning America" on Thursday. The "Idol" judge summed up Wednesday night's results by stating that "the singer won over the entertainer", and pointed out Jordin Sparks as the season's "most improved" contestant. Simon concluded by saying Melinda "tried the hardest, was consistently the best, and had the best voice." Uh, yeah!
