Look, it’s Nicole Richie pregnant and in a bikini! Oh wait, that doesn’t sound that great after all. It does seem a bit funny to me though, you know, pregnant AND in a bikini. Just something you really don’t associate together.
The picture is funny, though. Nicole reminds me of an alien… the kind with the plump bodies and the really thin arms and legs? Hmm, I wonder if she is going to have an alien’s baby?
Jail Time is Tough for Nicole Richie
With all the cameras focusing on Lindsay Lohan’s trial outcome yesterday, no one really noticed Nicole Richie checking herself into Lynwood Jail.
Nicole casually checked herself into jail to do her time for the DUI she had received. Eighty-two minutes later, she walked out a free woman!
We’re told after all the time it took to get her booked in, Nicole was only in a cell for a total of 35 minutes!
No wonder these celebrities keep doing the dumb ass things they do, there are no real consequences. Thirty-five minutes of jail time? Good lord, come on! It almost took me longer to write this update than the actual time Nicole served for driving the wrong way on an L.A. freeway, under the influence!
Justice has been served — yeah right!
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Engaged
Although Nicole Richie and Joel Madden might not be ready to tell the world, a radio DJ in Arlington might have already let the cat out of the bag. We reported last week that we expected Joel to pop the question, but it may have already happened last Thursday (August 16).
At a Friday night condert with his band Good Charlotte, Joel was walking offstage when Hot 99.5’s Kane told the crowd “He got engaged yesterday. Congratulations, Joel!”
Kane went on to say, “They’re very excited about Nicole’s baby and the wedding. They want to keep their personal life personal.”
Joel Madden To Offer Marriage Proposal to Nicole Richie
Joel Madden, the father of Nicole Richie’s baby, was busted yesterday on “Live! With Regis and Kelly” when Regis said, “You’re going to present her, maybe, with, did I hear the right thing, or should I not even talk about this? A little ring or something.”
Joel then responded, ”I was hoping it would be a surprise, but now…” Regis then tried to redirect the conversation after that, turning to Joel’s brother and asking who he is dating.
Nicole is four and a half months pregnant with her and Joel’s child. It seems Joel’s little secret is now on the table. No more ace in the hole! But then, that’s what got you into this situation.
Nicole Richie Eats All The Time
Nicole Richie was interviewed by Diane Sawyer on “Good Morning America” last Friday. They spoke about Nicole’s weight and again, Nicole claims she eats all the time; she has even stepped up the eating now that she’s with child. From the mouth of Nicole:
“Do I eat is kind of an understatement. I eat all the time, especially now. I’m constantly hungry. I’m eating at least every hour. Just like any mother, you know, you want to take the best care of yourself, especially while you’re pregnant. And I’m definitely eating healthier now, and I’m really playing by the rules. I do not drink caffeine at all; cut out sushi. No alcohol. No marijuana. No pills. Nothing. No smoking around me.”
Daddy Not Defending Nicole Richie
Lionel Richie says his 25-year-old daughter Nicole Richie has “made some mistakes in her life,” but that he raised her to take responsibility for her behavior. “Nicole has not blamed others for her problems and is growing up very quickly, albeit in the heat of the media spotlight,” daddy Richie told Us magazine. Lionel then went on to say:
“My father taught me to stand straight and take whatever punishment or hardships were the result of my own actions, and I am proud that I was able to hand that philosophy down to my daughter,” he said.
“The Simple Life” is Simply Over
The New York Daily News reports that E! has officially cancelled The Simple Life.? Oh no that is simply terrible, how will we survive without Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie poking fun at ordinary people like you and I?
Don’t get your hopes up too soon though, just because E!is not going to be airing their show anymore doesn’t mean another network won’t pick it up.? I truly hope no one does though … I think we’ve all had enough of the dynamic duo.
Nicole Richie To Spend 4 Days in Jail
As expected, Nicole Richie pleaded guilty to her second DUI conviction and was sentenced to spend 4 days in jail. Nicole was also fined $2,048 and was ordered to attend yet another 21 day alcohol education course. Nicole is expected to have her child in January, but must start serving her 4 day sentence prior to September 28th.

Nicole Richie is Pregnant
After several weeks of Nicole Richie hiding her mid-section from Hollywood photographers, the rumors can be put to rest: Us has confirmed via multiple sources that Nicole is more than 12 weeks pregnant with her and boyfriend Joel Madden’s first child. “She is extremely excited right now,” a source close to the star tells Us.

It seems Nicole Richie loves to keep us guessing, but at this point are we really guessing? At LAX last week Nicole made wise use of her pillow to cover her belly, because rumors have been circulating that she’s pregnant. If she’s not with child, she’s toying with us, but I’m not so sure she’s that smart.
