Zooey Deschanel at The Happening Premiere

Check out actress Zooey Deschanel at the world premiere of “The Happening” in NYC. Zooey made a fruity splash onto the red carpet in this pink Dior party dress and Mary Norton clutch. Yeah, I said clutch — and wasn’t referencing a truck. Soon, I’ll be walking upright, too!

And although I’ve not yet seen this latest flick from M. Night Shaymalan’s demented mind, I have seen more than a handful of scornful reviews. It seems “The Happening” never really did… happen.

Fergie just loves her “Sex and the City.” The singer found time in her busy schedule to make the “Sex” premiere and showed up in this. Not that I’m one to judge (but I like to), I think this is a rather conservative selection from her wardrobe, considering the idea behind the movie and all. But hey, there is nothing outright wrong with what Fergie has got on — and she does look nice.

Regardless, it’s quite a bit different than her on-stage outfits that we have become accustomed to seeing her in, like this one where she pulled off that awesome Matrix-like move during a concert! Don’t try that home. In fact, don try it all. You know what happened last time….

With the Sex and the City movie hitting the big screen this week, women around the country are gearing up with new clothes and shoes – and I’m sure the sales of cosmopolitans will go up over the course of the weekend. The movie may open tomorrow morning, but celebrities like Michelle Williams have already caught the premiere. Actress Lake Bell made a showing Tuesday evening at the “Over Her Dead Body” premiere featuring “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria. For those not familiar with Lake Bell, sure her name sounds like a nice place to do some fishing, but she’s actually landed some TV-series roles in the past. Lake was a short-timer with “Boston Legal” and “Surfacing.”
