Randy Orton Biography 

Professional wrestler Randal “Randy” Keith Orton was born on April 1, 1980, in Knoxville, Tennessee, and he comes from a family of wrestlers; grandfather Bob, father “Cowboy” Bob and uncle Barry O. Randy was a straight A student and is a graduate of Hazelwood Central High School.

He enlisted in the United States Marines Corps after high school, but he was dishonorably discharged after he went AWOL on two separate occasions. He made his pro debut in 2000 with the MMWA-SICW in St. Louis, Missouri, and made his first WWE television appearance with a match against Billy Gunn on May 6, 2001.

At the 2004 “Summerslam,” Randy defeated Chris Benoit to win the World Heavyweight Championship at age 24, becoming the youngest titleholder in WWE history. In November 2005, Randy announced his engagement to long time girlfriend Samantha Speno.
