Sarah Goes Solo

Her pop group Girls Aloud is taking a break, and Sarah Harding is using the time off to pursue her own projects. Sarah refuses to conform or deny rumors of a solo album, but does admit she wants to do more acting. She revealed, “I’ve been to some castings, I went to the Cannes Film Festival, and I’ve had some meetings with producers. But I’m not going to charge in, I’m going for the softly-softly approach. I’d rather do smaller parts that are good than jump in with a lead role, which I probably wouldn’t do justice to.” Sounds like the smart thing to do, since we’ve seen too many singers try acting but find their success didn’t transfer to the silver screen. Ask Mariah Carey or Britney Spears!
