“Heroes” Series Returns Tonight

For all you Heroes fans out there, me included, the time has come for the new season finally. We’ve waited long enough to see what happens with Peter, Sylar, and Nathan and how their fates will be determined. Rumor is that one hero will die this season while new ones will be introduced.
Best Dressed Women of the 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards
If you caught the 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards last night, you missed a decent show. The big winners were “The Sopranos,” Tony Bennett, and TV movie “Broken Trail.” The celebrities, of course, were glammed to the max. Our favorite dressed women were: Eva Longoria, Ali Larter, Debra Messing, America Ferrera, Ellen Pompeo, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jennifer Morrison, Mary-Louise Parker, and Marcia Cross.
Christina Aguilera and Tony Bennett - Stepping Out
Tony Bennett was nominated for a total of three Emmy Awards last night at the 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards, and guess what? He took home all three! Not only did Tony sweep his nominations, he performed “Stepping Out” with Christina Aguilera. Christina was introduced earlier as”one of the most talented voices of this generation,” and I would have to agree.
Kristen Bell and Hayden Panettiere Emmy Party Photos
Kristen Bell, Hayden Panettiere, and the rest of the “Heroes” crew take it easy at the 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards cast party on Sunday. “Heroes” didn’t receive a great number of nominations and I don’t think they even brought one Emmy award home, but I’m sure the party was a blast!
It doesn’t matter — Kristen and Hayden look great in the photos!
Rachael Ray Wants You To Get Things Cooking

Are you a wannabe celebrity chef or the most inventive cook on the block? Do your culinary skills go beyond boiling water? If you’ve answered “yes” to all the above, then Rachael Ray may be looking for you. The syndicated talk-show host is launching “So You Think You Can Cook?” It’s a nationwide search for an enterprising foodie. Rachel had this to say about what they are looking for:
“We just want to give a person, a real person, not a chef or somebody specially trained to do this for a living, a shot at showing everybody their personality and how much fun you can have with food.”
Janet Jackson’s Breast Issue Still At Hand
Can you say “wardrobe malfunction?” I bet so! A lawyer for CBS argued the company should not be fined for the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show that ended with Janet Jackson’s breast-baring “wardrobe malfunction” because the stunt was both fleeting and unauthorized. The network also accused the FCC of applying “mushy” and newly restrictive standards when it fined CBS $550,000 for the half-second of partial nudity.
“The FCC’s new zero-tolerance policy has already had a chilling effect on the broadcast industry, particularly with regard to television,” said Robert Corn-Revere, a CBS lawyer who asked a federal appeals court panel to overturn the fine.
Kelly Ripa is Gonna Let One Rip
Not the most flattering view of Kelly Ripa, eh Regis? While doing an NFL segment on Regis and Kelly, Kelly assumed the center position and Regis stepped in as quarterback in shotgun formation. NFL player Jerome Bettis was on the set, but looked a tad bit uncomfortable with Kelly in, uh, that position. Regis, on the other hand, was all smiles and he did complete one immaculate reception!
Kelly Clarkson Will Kick Off the NFL Season

If you’re Kelly Clarkson fan and ready for some fantastic fall football, get ready! Kelly will help kick off the NFL season when she sings before the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts game on September 6 (8 p.m. on NBC).
The pre-game show will also feature performances by Hinder, Faith Hill and John Mellencamp. Kelly’s performance will be part of a free concert she’ll be giving at Indianapolis’ Monument Circle.
Timberlake and Beyonce - Most MTV VMA Nominations

Justin Timberlake and Beyonce win the prize for most MTV Video Music Awards nominations with seven each. Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” was nominated for video of the year. Justin’s cinematic masterpiece, “What Goes Around … Comes Around,” which co-starred Scarlett Johansson, is also up for video of the year. I always love head-to-head competition!
The other nominees for video of the year are Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab,” Kanye West’s “Stronger,” Rihanna’s “Umbrella” (featuring Jay-Z and Justice’s “D.A.N.C.E.”
Justin was also nominated for male artist of the year and “most earth shattering collaboration” for pairing with Timbaland for “Sexy Back.” Beyonce was nominated for female artist of the year and for her collaboration with Shakira on “Beautiful Liar.”
David Duchovny Returns To TV In Californication

David Duchovny is back in an new, hard-edged Showtime series with a very suggestive title, “Californication.” David is not only the principal star, but also one of its executive producers. The show is a comedy-drama set in Los Angeles that, according to Duchovny, ”is not a thinly veiled show that’s supposed to titillate you.” With that said, this role appears to be a far cry from well-known FBI Agent Fox Mulder on the ”The X-Files.”
